Thank you so much for Mickey (formerly Gabe). He is an amazing dog. He is so nice and gentle. Mickey and Sweet Pea (also a rescue from Paws for Life) are now best friends. Unfortunately, they have taken over our couch! They are great.. thank you so much!

Update April 2009:
Just wanted to give you an update on “Mickey”, now affectionately known as Chance.
He is the sweetest dog, loves to give kisses and has easily adjusted to his new home. He’s been enjoying playing in the yard and we’ve been walking the neighborhood so he can get used to his new surroundings. Max, the cat, has exerted his authority and Chance has given him the illusion that he’s still in charge so they’re doing fine together. We brought Nelson’s dog Bantry over Sunday and the two of them played like long-like friends, so everyone is getting along and Chance is really happy.
Here are a couple of pictures from last weekend. I’ll send more updates so you can see how he’s doing. Thanks for introducing us to each other!
Update September 2009:
Thought you might enjoy an updated picture of Chance taken recently.
He's been a great addition to our family. Thank you for bringing us together.

Ava is relaxed and getting settled in.
Update April 2009:
I just thought I'd let you know that Ava has become a family member. She follows me around everywhere. She loves my 3 yr old granddaughter and like to walk around the neighborhood now that I got a no pull harness. She is doing well. We really love her. She sleeps in my bed until my husband gets in and then sleeps on the floor next to our bed. We are so happy she is in our lives.
We even had her at the beach on Easter afternoon and she romped and played. Attached are some pictures to share.

Update July 2009:
Hi Ginny!
I can't believe it's been over 3 months since we brought home "Joy" we've since nicknamed Lucky.
She was very lucky to have been taken away from the situation she was in.
She has adapted wonderfully to our family. It took a good two months of patience and a lot
of good girls, but she has come out of her shell, and is the most wonderful dog in the world!!
Hope all is well and thank you for the wonderful service you do for all the animals!
Carol and Ivan
Update July 2010:
Just a note to thank you for showing us Spock today. We are looking forward to making him part of our family.
I sent above some pictures of Lucky, when she would sit with me at night in the den, which she has since stopped doing (??? Try to figure her out ???) but we are sure hoping that Spock with bring her back into the den at night to hang out with us.
Have a great week and we will be in touch Wednesday afternoon.
Thank you for all the work you do!!

Beau was adopted!
Update April 2009:
Dear Ginny,
We couldn't thank you more for saving Beau. He's a perfect fit in our family. He sleeps right next to my bed every night and has been lately licking my face to wake me up ten minutes after I fall asleep! He hasn't had one accident in the house and he now sits on command. Beau has really come out of his shell. We jokingly call him "King Beau" because he just lays around smiling all the time. Even my dad who was dead set against a dog was standing in the kitchen yesterday slapping his knees saying "Come here boy!" We'll be sure to update you soon. I'm attaching you a picture of Beau eating a treat, and smiling.
thank you so much,
Sarah and the rest of the Raymond family
Update May 2009:
Hi Ginny,
Beau is doing great, he is 100% healthy now. He's jumping around and playing. He even made friends with the neighbors dogs for a playdate. Beau loves his new home he also loves sarah. He follows her around all the time and cries when she leaves for school. Beau now eats treats out of people's hands and is getting more sociable. He barks at the window now when he sees sarah coming home! Thanks again Samantha and the Raymond family

Update April 2009:
Hi Ginny,
We couldn’t have asked for a better dog for our family. Winnie (her new name) walked into our house and hearts on St. Patrick’s Day as if she’d lived here her whole life. She’s very comfortable in her surroundings, listens so well, and the kids adore her. She loves rolling on her back to play with toys. I think she really wishes she had opposable thumbs! Her favorite thing in the whole world is having someone to touch her… whether it’s long back and neck rubs, or just leaning on each other watching TV. Here are a few pictures. We’re so glad we found each other! Thanks for making that happen....
