Marley was adopted!
Update August 2010:
I wanted to touch base with you and let you know how Marley is doing.
I'm sorry it took us so long to e-mail you, but my husband and daughter misplaced your e-mail address. My husband found and gave it to me tonight.
Attached is a couple pic.'s of Marley, one with Gizmo.
Brittany took a few extremely cute pic.'s recently, however, she is working a lot of hours before her semester starts and Dominic and I have no idea how to get them on the computer to send. When she has time, I will get her to do it and send them to you.
Marley is adjusting quite well. He and Gizmo get along great.
Marley does still suffer with loose stool. He has been to the vet three times now. They took many cultures and they all came back negative to bacteria. He does have quite a hefty appetite. He gained 3 lbs after the first 4 days with us. While we haven't weighed him this week, he does look a bit fuller, not a huge difference, but definately going in the right direction. His stool has went from watery to extremely soft, sometimes mushy. He is on a bland diet from the vet with can and crunchy foods as well as his cookies.
Marley thoroughly enjoys his walks, but LOVES to ride in the car, lol. He is very smart and is learning a lot. He sits, gives paw, and speaks on command. He is also learning how to play with Gizmo without "rough housing" a little better. He does realize Gizmo can not (will not) play tug of war with the toys. So he nudges him with a toy and takes off running. We counted twenty times around our dining room table one night that Gizmo chased him around it. So sweet, when Gizmo tires, Marley will stop, look under the table and when Gizmo is ready and starts coming around, Marley waits until he is right on top of him before starting to run again. Gizmo is a sweety too, he lets Marley play with all his toys except the big red Clifford dog, lol. Between them, they have well over twenty to choose from, however, Marley's favorite is an old red soccer ball of my youngest sons.
Again, I'll send more pic's when Britt has more time to load them for me.
Please send me a short note that you received this e-mail so that I know he gave me the right one.
Thank you.
Take care,
Enjoy your evening!

Spock was adopted!
Update March 2011:
Hi Ginny,
It's been over 9 months since we brought Spock (now Rock) home. He has blended in with Lucky (who we adopted from you, also) wonderfully!
I can't believe for years I only had one dog. Rock has helped Lucky come out of her shell so much. She was a happy dog before, but now
she's so much happier and extroverted. Thanks so much for the wonderful dogs you rescue.
