Darl was adopted!

Update June 2014:

Hi ginny! I just thought id give u an update on darl. He's an awesome dog :) so lovey and sweet. We changed his name to cerberus (or cerby for short) and he already answers to it. Every morning we go on a 1 mile walk and a 1 mile run at night. I bought him some size/strength appropriate toys that he's constantly playing with. He leaves the baby's toys alone, for the most part, which was pleasantly surprising. He loves playing fetch out back (which is great because it wears him out) and cuddling with us on the couch. At night, he falls asleep with one of us but when we wake up he's usually on his dog bed or in his crate. So far, cerby has been a wonderful addition to our family :) thank you so much. I'm attaching some pics of him. Let me know if you get them :)

Update August 2014:

Hi Ginny,

Wanted to give you a quick update on Francine who is now known as Daphne.  Daphne has only been in our lives since May but I feel like she's been apart of our lives forever.  She is the sweetest, friendliest dog around.   She loves life and loves meeting new friends.  Daphne loves running around at the Middletown Dog Park and has met some great doggy friends there.  Our lives are truly better because of her.  We can not thank you enough for everything you do that led to Daphne becoming a part of our family.  I've also attached some photos of her.

Update June 2014:

Hi Ms. Ginny

Just wanted to send you a quick update to let you know that I am doing great.  My mama and daddy took me on my first ever beach camping trip this past weekend.  It was so awesome.  We spent the whole day on a dog beach, swimming, going to a sandbar, meeting other people, and greeting other dogs.  I'm still a bit timid when it comes to other dogs but I'm getting more and more comfortable every day.  They even had a free run dog park and I got to show everyone how fast I am.  I can run like the wind, but I was safe since it was enclosed.  it was a lot of fun.  I'm also in obedience training on Tuesday nights and learning so much.  Tonight is class #2 and I can't wait to see what I learn.  We have worked on Sit, Stand, and Lay Down so far.  Plus I get lots of treats if I do well.  I know the attached photos may look like a sleep a lot but that's because I play hard and get worn out.  My parents keep saying that I rescued them, but I'm not sure what that means.  They seem happy when they say it so I guess it's a good thing.

Until next time
